The man who’s retirement makes as much sense as the pronunciation of his last name (please, the ‘r’ comes after the ‘v’!) is supposedly unretired… again. USA Today is reporting that Brett Favre has signed a two-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings. The deal is rumored to be worth around $10-$12 million. Word is Favre has already announced his retirement after this season with an eye towards coming out of retirement again… or maybe not. He hasn’t decided yet.
Hey, don’t ask me to make sense of this. I’m the one who predicted he would stay retired the first time around. I don’t mind it as much this time. He didn’t leave former teammates in the lurch like he did the first time he was deciding if wanted to come out of retirement or not.
