Spread the Word Kindle Contest

Okay, I’m giving away another Kindle.  (Yeah, I know I just quit my job. Shh! Don’t tell my wife.)  This time it is strictly a word of mouth contest.  The more mouths you recruit, the more chances you have to win. I won’t be doing a drawing this time unless there is a tie.  The person who scores the most Spread the Word points wins the Kindle.

Two, Three, and Three

  • This content involves two of my books: The Takers and Lost Days.
  • There are three ways to spread the word about these books:  Email, Facebook,  and Twitter.
  • There are three places where you can access the ways to spread the word: Amazon, YouTube, and this blog post.

Amazon
On every Book page on Amazon, there are “Share Buttons.”  Here’s an example:

Close up view:

  • You score one point each time you use any of the buttons  to spread the word about The Takers or Lost Days.

Spreading the Word with Email
The email icon will open a window where you can enter the email address of a friend or family member.  Also include this email address: kindlecontest@rwridley.com. Next, be sure that your personal message includes this text:

***Important – Be sure to include the following email address each time you use the “Email Share Button:” kindlecontest@rwridley.com.  This is so I can track your points.

  • Getting your local book club to contact me
  • Telling Steven Spielberg the book would make a great movie
  • Some other great idea that only you can think of

  1. OK, this is your wife. Just so you know, “Shh!” doesn’t really work when you are publicly posting something. Doh! I think this contest is a great idea. Everyone should have a Kindle. I adore my Kindle. As long as you are not planning to give away my Kindle, I am in favor of this contest. 🙂

  2. hey there, well I don’t tweet and all that but my DD makes me blog about Takers once in a while and I’d just listed it this weekend in my promo for kids ebooks.

Just promoted this promo too so hope it all helps cuz we sound like Oz Griffin groupies 🙂

Mia, I agree, everyone should have a kindle 🙂
