The scariest 2:42 you’ll spend today or tomorrow or the next day

This short film by David F. Sandberg had me on the edge of my office chair.  It’s called Lights Out, and my advice is to keep the lights on while watching this… Actually just keep them on.  Never, ever turn them off again.

Heath Ledger’s Joker

An almost infinite number of bloggers, reporters, professional reviewers, and common schlubs from coast to coast have waxed poetic about Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.  While I can’t add anything new, I can confirm that it is flawless.  He accomplishes something almost unthinkable.  He surpasses Jack Nicholson’s performance as the Joker. From the moment he steps on film, you forget that he is portraying a comic book villain.  There is nothing comic bookish about Heath Ledger’s Joker.  This clown faced bad guy is real.  He’s dark and scary and completely believable.  You get the feeling that the other actor’s were just a little bit scared of Ledger during the shooting of the movie.  Their reactions to him were so real because they weren’t sure if he was acting.  He raised the level of everybody’s performance in this movie.  This is a movie to watch over and over again.  There has never been a villain more masterfully played than Heath Ledger’s Joker.  I feel sorry for the guy who will play the Joker in the next Batman film.
